What’s Wong?

In the tiny town of Te Anau, New Zealand, there are 1800 residents and two full-sized, waiter-service, Chinese restaurants. They were both full when we visited during Chinese National Holiday. This sign was between the supermarket and the Chinese restaurant.

In Auckland airport, the sign below is posted on many of the trash cans. It’s one of the only bilingual signs in the airport. And it’s not translated into many languages.

    awesome. i love that funny signs are international. i can’t believe that people actually shit in trash cans in such abundance that the local authorities had to post warning signs.
